In 1981 he graduated from the School of Fine Arts of Fujian，and later in 1987，he graduated from the Central Academy of Fine Arts （now the Art Institute of Qinghua University） majoring in professional decorative sculpture. He is considered a national level artist，and is a member of China’s Sculpture Association，the Sichuan Provincial Art Association，Professional Sculpture Members，Chengdu City Public Environmental Art Society of Sichuan and the Sculpture Centre sculpture design director.
